What is Hello!Project?
Hello!Project's official logo.
Hello!Project (or H!P for short) is a term that refers to Japanese female idols signed under Up-Front Agency, managed by producer Tsunku. Hello!Project consists of long-running "flagship" Japanese Pop groups, such as Morning Musume, Berryz Koubou, C-ute, and S/mileage, solo artists, such as Erina Mano, Yuu Kikkawa, and Sayaka Kitahara, and smaller "sub-unit" groups, such as Buono! and Lilpri. Hello!Project also has a large training group called Hello!Pro Egg, which trains girls looking to become full-fledged idols under the agency.
The current lineup of the girls' ages range from 10-24 and a lot of them partake in activities outside of singing and dancing, which includes voice acting, hosting TV shows, and hosting radio shows.
